Kraft Rahel
Rahel Kraft is a vocalist, sound artist and performer. Her focus lies at the intersection of modern composition, installation, improvisation and performance, often including the site, listening practises and collective processes. With a background in free improvisation, Jazz and a keen interest in music technology, she creates interdisciplinary sound works.
In her ongoing collaborative project with Japanese sound artist Tomoko Hojo, she explores intimate, hidden sounds in different regions. Their next work will be presented in 2018 at Contemporary Art Center Nairs, Switzerland.
Rahel Kraft completed two Master of Arts, one in Sound Arts at the London College of Communication 2015 and one in Jazz Voice and Pedagogy at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Art 2010. She currently conducts further education as a voice artist with different teachers.
