Hartlieb Florian

Florian Hartlieb born 1982, is a german composer and multimedia artist, based in Bochum/Germany. He explores the concept of multi-dimensional sonic spaces, which leads to the aesthetic goal of a sculptural music. Hartlieb studied composition at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen and at the University of Music inSonic_Bro_20181203-2.indd 29 03.12.18 09:43 30 and Performing Arts Vienna. He was awarded with first prizes at the international composition competitions Jeu de Temps/Times Play (JTTP 2009) and European Erasmus Composition competition (2013). His works have been played on festivals and conferences worldwide. Since 2013, Hartlieb is the leader of the Master Programme “Professional Media Creation (M.A.)”, offered by the Folkwang University of the Arts in cooperation with SAE Institute.
