The European University Cyprus, as part of the “Interfaces” project, announced a call for applications for residencies for electronic music artists. The residencies took place in July & August of 2017, 2018, and 2019
The themes of the residencies and their expected outcomes were, articulated in relation to thes other Interfaces actions of the EUC, like the Urban Music Boxes or the Living Museums activities. Applications where new media can be presented in public spaces were particulartly welcomed as well as in museums and streets as part of artistic interventions. Also, concepts that relate directly to Cyprus and proposals that aim to create new site-specific works were given special attention.
