Ioanndiou Thalia
Architect, musician- sound artist, performer and DJ,based in Athens, Greece. Since 2001, she has have been composing, improvising and performing music and sound design for theatre, film, performances, art installations and concerts. Using trumpet, vintage keyboards, objects, recordings, effects and amplifiers, she works and experiments solo or in groups.
Her main collaborative projects are two audiovisual ensembles, Drog_A_Tek and miniMaximum Improvision. Other collaborations have been, in theatre with A. Brouskou, L. Langarde, Blitz Theatre Group, the Erasers and in cinema with Syllas Tzoumerkas, K. Giannaris, S. Etemadi.
Since 2011, she has been collaborating with Goethe Institute – Aten, Documenta 14, NEON Organisation and Hellenic Festival, as an artist or concert curator/coordinator.
